NASA's legendary Kepler space telescope retires after running out of fuel

NASA's legendary Kepler space telescope retreated after running out of fuel for other scientific operations, concluding a prolific nine-and-a-half-year mission in which he discovered more than 2,600 intriguing exoplanets, some of which could accommodate life.
The Directorate of Scientific Missions of NASA in Washington said that as the first planetary mission of NASA, Kepler exceeded all expectations enormously and paved the way for the exploration and search for life in the solar system and beyond.
